On the 26700 Block of Mulholland, the hillside to the North was burned clear up to it’s peak. More than 15 Fire trucks lined Mulholland Highway this afternoon as Cal Fire Firefighters mopped up the hot spots in the hillsides here at what is being dubbed: The Stokes Fire.

Firefighters from Ventura County Fire Dept and L.A.Co.Fire Dept. were pumping tens of thousands of gallons of water onto the Stokes brush fire all afternoon.

The Calabasas temperatures are well on the rise into their 80s and the heatwave slapping all of the jacketed Firefighters, they worked harder than they were told so they knew it would pay off in the end.

They didn’t want this fire to restart after they planned to leave on July 1, 2017 . Too many mansions in Calabasas that could become in the fire’s path.
